My partner and I were walking the Cotswold Way in September and passed through Painswick for one night only. We were happy to arrive at the Troy House after a long day of walking. We had the pleasant luck on staying in the loft suite. The room was very clean and neat with lovely decor. It is a generous sized room with very comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom was the most luxurious we experienced along our entire walk! You see, we were backpacking the route and every day, we would arrive at evenings accommodation hungry, tired, sore and sweaty. So to have a lovely tub with bubble bath, lotions, shampoo and conditioner was like a trip to the spa! The breakfast in the morning was extremely hearty and the host was very accommodating for the menu. Great location…
